Subscriptions & Pricing

We offer three access levels – Premium, Standard and Lite

1- FarmMap4D Premium is our top of the range product that gives you access all our tools and services. This is suitable for established livestock farmers wanting to actively manage land, land infrastructure and livestock performance. Premium is our most popular subscription giving access to our proprietary grazing circles and paddock capacity analysis. View and download the Premium product brochure.

2- FarmMap4D Standard is our mid-range product which is a cost-effective product for farmers looking to establish a new property and or get a greater understanding of their land and land asset decisions. Standard offers all the features of our Premium product but excludes grazing circles and paddock capacity analysis. View and download the Standard product brochure.

3- FarmMap4D Lite is our entry-level subscription. Lite is a good introductory product allowing users to get a broad review of their property. While most features are turned off, Lite does gives you the ability to overlay property infrastructure with our detailed satellite imagery. Lite has broader appeal as an introductory product for wider farming sectors of cropping, horticulture, and viticulture. View and download the Lite product brochure.

Click on each feature in the table below for more information.

To subscribe, select the subscription level below and make payment. We will email you with a registration form to collect details of your property and property location, and of the people you wish to have access to your FarmMap4D licence.

Please note that a subscription is for one property only or for two or more properties adjourned and managed by the same owner.

A 10% discount will apply for multiple subscriptions purchased.

Property Infrastructure Analysis

  • Rapidly analyse your water and fencing infrastructure in terms of distance from water, access, and seasonality. (Not available in Lite)
  • Plan where pipes and troughs will be put based on terrain and slope, and accurately calculate the length of pipe or fencing material over the actual terrain surface. (Not available in Lite)
  • Cost capital expenditure plans based on scenarios which are saved for reference.
  • Save days and weeks of driving, and costly GPS surveys.
  • Download plans to your GPS or smartphone for field verification, installation and monitoring.

Base Map Layers

  • The base map layers each provide a different context view behind the main infrastructure data layers. These layers cannot be edited, but do provide various images to help you digitize existing infrastructure, and plan for new infrastructure.
  • We offer a suite of satellite platforms including Landsat, Sentinel and ESRI –used interchangeably for quality of resolution, regularity of the refresh period and length of historical recording.
  • Base terrain and topographic layers are also available allowing users to differentiate elevation by colour and contour lines.
  • High resolution maps available in Premium and Standard only for NSW, QLD and TAS.

Summary Reporting

  • The Summary Tables tool allows you to pick from a drop-down list of standard tables that can be saved to your computer and opened in a table-viewing program such as Microsoft Excel.

  • An asset register can be displayed describing detailed information on either the point or linear assets of the property – including water points, yards, fences, pipelines, roads and paddock summaries.

  • These tables can be used throughout the year for planning stocking rates, reviewing capital expenditure requirements and other management decisions.

Georeferenced Screenshot Capability

  • Maps of specific areas of your property can be generated by using the Georeferenced Screenshot tool.

  • Georeferenced screenshots have location data attached to the image so it can be accurately geographically placed.

  • The downloaded screenshot can be emailed to a smartphone or mobile tablet and opened in a free App such as “Avenza Maps Mobile”.

  • If you are physically located on your property your location will come up and follow you as you move.

  • Importantly, you do not need mobile network or wifi for the system to operate – you just need to ensure your phone or tablet location and GPS is enabled.

Times Series Satellite Analysis

  • Use satellite imagery products to analyse various seasonal cover results around your property over the last 30 years.

  • The tool works on extracting out the modeled proportion of a satellite grid cell which is photosynthetic vegetation (green), non-photosynthetic (blue) and bare ground and water (red).

  • The analysis has several layer options including fractional cover, fractional ground cover, persistent green, decile total and decile green.

  • The tool works as a base for deeper understanding of pasture growth potential, safe long-term carrying capacity and highlighting the impact of fire disturbance and drought.

Ground Cover Percentile

  • The Percentile Imagery ranks the typical green and non-green ground cover over time to determine which areas have consistently lower or consistently higher cover over time to either all areas in your property, or all areas in a paddock.

  • The output maps are “Red to Green” maps, where red shows consistently poor cover over time, cream-white shows average cover and green shows consistently higher cover over time.

  • The results can highlight which paddocks or parts of the property are most grazed, or have consistently the lowest level of cover and vice versa.

Regional Ground Cover Comparison

  • Regional cover analysis allows for a comparison of green and non-green vegetation components of ground cover data on your property with ground cover values achieved for similar land in the local region.

  • The analysis is conducted over a 30-year period with reported graph analysis in percentiles. This enables direct comparison of the trend and level of ground cover for a selected property to other properties in the area.

  • This can be very useful as a benchmarking tool (in land stewardship) and in considering stocking strategies based on past and current seasonal land conditions.

Profile (elevation) Tool

  • To examine how to connect a new proposed trough to an existing dam you can use the Profile Tool to plan a linear infrastructure route which generates a profile along the route, the along ground distance (as opposed to horizontal) as well as an interactive elevation height profile.

  • This can be very useful in accurately defining the type and length of pipeline required and any associated pump infrastructure.

  • The profiling tool is also very useful in mapping and planning new fence infrastructure – particularly over large and undulating terrain.

Land Type Mapping and Analysis

  • Mapping the distribution of land systems, vegetation or soils is critical to understanding the inherent carrying capacity of each paddock.

  • Multiple government datasets are provided to the user for review. The user can accept the state data or create their own data from scratch.

  • This information can be used to generate paddock area summaries for each land type, and assist with safe carrying capacity estimation or property development planning. It also provides the basis for analysing pasture utilisation, land condition and feed on offer.

Custom Map Tool

  • Custom mapping tools allow you to design your own map symbology, scales and areas of interest. Generate a custom map for planning fence maintenance.

  • Mark up an area of a paddock for spraying for a contractor, and in a few minutes, load into their GPS or Smartphone.

  • Quickly sketch weed and pest management areas or calculate the area for pasture treatments.

  • Create a Workplace Health and Safety map for new employees, and share your custom views and GPS-ready maps with other users.

Distance from Water Analysis

  • The grazing intensity of livestock is highest close to a water point and decreases as livestock moves away from it. Distance from a Water Analysis tool (grazing circles) allows you to estimate the proportion of your paddocks that are likely to be productively grazed.

  • This tool combines water points, specified circle distances and fence lines to calculate where pasture utilization is likely to be most intensive down to least intensive.

  • This is a very popular tool for large graziers needing to optimize water infrastructure and carrying capacity.

Long-term Carrying Capacity

  • Bring together land type, grazing circles, infrastructure and land condition information to estimate current and potential long-term safe carrying capacity for each paddock and land type within a property.
  • Use this information to estimate overall cost of investment, increases in production and return on investment.
  • Provide your bank with detailed maps and outputs on how investment and management is going to improve your production and sustainability.
