Making the most of data available

With more than 30 years of remotely sensed groundcover data available, FarmMap4D allows you to examine the changes in your groundcover through time by using fractional groundcover which monitors the proportion of green plants, dried plants and bare ground. 

In the picture below you can see how the percentage of these 3 components of vegetation (bare, green & non green) vary through time for the highlighted paddock.

This data can be overlayed with rainfall, or your stocking information for management insights.

The tool also allows you to compare your paddocks or property with comparison sites eg. See how a watered area compares with an unwatered area, or compare your place to a buffer of up to 50km around your property.
